Artist Background:

Jesse Small has been living and working in the West Bottoms for the last four years. He graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1997 with a BFA in Sculpture and Ceramics. Past honors and awards include the 2000 Avenue of the Arts and the Charlotte Street Fund.

Project Summary:

The I-670 pedestrian bridge includes 72 “bird motiff’ screens that are attached to the existing iron framework.
